New Site
I've started this blog as a way of promoting updates to my main photo site.
However, at the moment my main photo site, fotopic looks to be down - permanently.
Therefore I am looking at a couple other options for where to host photos. I am going to have some on my flickr account, but its not the most pleasing on the eye, so will look to have a couple test galleries and see what one I like best in terms of looks and more importantly features.
Even if Fotopic does come back I am going to move away from it as the service now has just become too unreliable, which is unfortunate as since 2005 its been my way of sharing pictures.

Holden's Scrapyard Fire
Pictures here of the huge fire at the Holden's Environmental Scrapyard in Perth.
Appliances from all across Tayside attended - Perth, Kinross, Auchterarder, Crieff, Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie and Dundee attended. In addition the Foam Salvage, Envrionmental Protection and Command Support Units were all on site.

Grampian Hotel Fire
Pictures here of the fire at Perth's Grampian Hotel.
The fire was confined to a room at the front of the hotel, the cause believed to be a faulty electrical appliance.
Appliances from Perth, Dunkeld and the Command Support Unit from Dundee turned out.

Prince Charles Visit To Perth
Prince Charles paid a visit to Perth in June of 2010 as part of the Perth 800 Celebrations.
He is seen arriving at Perth Station and then again attending a special Farmer's Market in Perth's King Edward Street.
