Pictures here of Perthshire Amateur league and cup action on Perth's North Inch. In league action, the top of the table clash in Division 1 saw Letham take on Ballinluig and win out 8-1. In the Quarter Final of the Perth & District Cup, Perth United beat St Johns 201.

Perthshire Amateur Football - Perth United vs Methven, Fairfield vs Rattray October 12th

Pictures here of some amateur football action on Perth's South Inch - and two matches in the Scottish Cup 2nd Round (North of Tay). Perth United went down 3-0 to Methven and Fairfield lost 2-1 to Rattray.

Letham vs Perth United - Perthshire Cup Semi-Final



Pictures here from Seven Acres, as Letham took on Perth United in the Semi-Final of the Perthshire Cup. Perth United won the match 4-3, however, it transpired a couple days after the match that they had fielded a cup-tied player, and the match awarded instead to Letham.

Perthshire Amateur Football Action

Pictures here from the South Inch on Saturday March 2nd and some Perthshire Amateur Football action.

In the Ashleigh Cup it was Wolfhill 3 - 1 Pole Team - the match switched to the Inch - and Perth United 0 - 3 Vale of Earn. There was also league action with Letham winning out 3-2 against Craigie in a League Division 1 match.

Coming Soon: Amateur Football on South Inch & Anti Windfarm Protest

Coming soon will be two collections from Saturday 20th October.

First of all, the anti-windfarm / anti-SNP windfarm policy protest where a group of near to 300 in number marched through Perth to the Horsecross Concert Hall where the SNP conference was taking place.

Secondly, in the afternoon, it was back to the South Inch for Perthshire Cup action with Perth United taking on Kettins in the second round.
