The short parade started at Perth Concert hall before going along Mill Street, Kinnoull Street, High Street, George Street and back to the Concert Hall.
The parade was led by Colonel Peter Little, 51st Highland 7th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland and the Perth and District Pipe Band.
A number of the Society of High Constables of Perth flanked the parade as an honour guard.
The parade was part of a day of festivities is planned including a Civic Lunch hosted by the Provost; visits to the Old Council Chambers, Fair Maid’s House and Balhousie Castle; and ending in a dinner in St John's Kirk
In addition, Pipe Major of the Perth and District Pipe Band, Alistair Duthie was presented with a pipe banner by the Guildry Incorporation of Perth
