Pictures here from Tay Street in Perth, where a large-scale, multi-agency search operation was underway following the sighting of a body in the River Tay.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews from Perth were joined by colleagues from Dunkeld, Coupar Angus and Dundee - including specialist water rescue teams and a command support unit. Scottish Ambulance Service deployed its Special Operations and Resilience Team, along with the Police Scotland Search and Rescue Team and their helicopter. Further support came in the form of the Coastguard and the RNLI lifeboat from Broughty Ferry and a Seaking search and rescue helicopter.
The search was stood down at 9.30pm, and would resume again the following morning.
