Perth Christmas Light Switch-on

A selection of pictures here from a day of events to mark the Christmas lights being switched on in Perth. There was a variety of street entertainment, a chocolate festival, two stages providing entertainment, ice sculpting and funfair rides on Tay Street. One of the highlights on the main stage were the Luminites. Once the lights were switched on by Provost Liz Grant and Mark Wright from The Only Way Is Essex there was a spectacular fireworks display. The day was finished off by Eric Faulkner's  Bay City Rollers.
