St Johnstone Return To Europe!!!
Pictures here from McDiarmid Park on the final day of the SPL 2012/13 as St Johnstone took on Motherwell in a vitally important match. With a place in European football up for grabs, St Johnstone had to win, and hope that Inverness Caledonian Thistle failed to win against their local rivals Ross County.
As it turned out, St Johnstone managed a comfortable 2-nil win over Motherwell, who, had become a bit of a bogey side for Saints over recent years. Ross County got their first league win of the season against Inverness - meaning St Johnstone qualified for the Europa League for an unprecedented two seasons in a row.
At half time, the Scotland Ladies World Curling Champions were presented with gifts from the club following their crowning earlier this year.
