Laying Up of Black Watch Colours

Pictures here from the final parading of the Black Watch and 51st Highland Volunteers Regimental Colours which were to be "laid-up" now both are part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Following the parade along Perth's Tay Street there was an open air church service at which the Colours were laid up.

The salute was taken by Brigadier Garry Barnett OBE; Mrs Georgiana Osborne, Lord Lieutenant of Angus and president of The Black Watch Association; Brigadier Mel Jameson CBE, Lord Lieutenant of Perth & Kinross and Provost of Perth and Kinross Liz Grant.
